Le Cochon Danseur (The Dancing Pig) is a silent film released in 1907 by the French company Pathé. Based on a Vaudeville play, the short 4 minute film features a giant anthropomorphic pig whose affections are repeatedly rejected by a young woman before she humiliates him by stripping off his clothes and laughing. For some reason the two perform a little dance together then, hand in hand, exit through the rear curtain. The last 20 seconds are a bit creepy, focusing on the giant pigs face as it wiggles its ears and nose, sticks its tongue out and bares its sharp teeth.
